- About The Author
- David A. Lane is a psychologist and coach who has researched and taught formulation for several decades. He has contributed to the development of the field of coaching, supervision as well as to counselling psychology. Previous books include The Case for Coaching, Supervision in the Psychological Professions and A Critical Introduction to Coaching and Mentoring.Sarah Corrie is a psychologist and coach and has developed methods for teaching formulation in both coaching and professional psychology. She has published widely, including books on decision-making, supervision and formulation in applied psychology. Sarah is also a Professor of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Counselling at the University of Suffolk.Louise C. Kovács is a practitioner-researcher, executive coach and coaching supervisor. In completing her doctoral-level research she developed a framework for applying the concept of formulation in an executive coaching context. She has co-authored a number of articles on the topic of formulation and in her work as a supervisor continues to advance the case for formulation as an essential skill for coaches.
