- About The Author
- Sarah Ziman was born and grew up in the South Wales Valleys. In 2021 she won the YorkMix children's poem competition, and has been highly commended for the Caterpillar poetry prize in 2020, 2021 and 2022. Her first collection, Why Did My Brain Make Me Say It? was published in 2024. and shortlisted in the Wales Book the Year awards and longlisted in the UKLA Children's Awards. She enjoys doing school and festival performances, whether platform assemblies or collaborative workshops. She lives in Watford, Hertfordshire, with her husband and two sons.
