- About The Author
- Petr Horácek is an award-winning author illustrator whose picture books are sold across the world. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Fine Art. After graduating in 1994, he moved to England. His first two picture books were published in 2001, winning the 'Books for Children' Newcomer award. His books for Otter-Barry Books include The Last Tiger, The Perfect Present, The Star Whale (with Nicola Davies) and Blue Monster. Petr is much sought after for school visits and at book festivals. He lives in Worcester.
