- Geoff Crambie was born in Colne June 1st 1943 and has had an interest in Colne's History since 1953. Has now written 9 books on the town and also lectures on Colne's Historic past. Appeared on the radio and television many times and has a vast collection (15,750) of old Colne pictures and 81 street name plates
