- Simone Cave was the health editor at the Daily Mirror for eight years, and then worked as a freelance journalist covering nutrition, health, medical and parenting issues for national newspapers and magazines. She was also the author of three international bestsellers on parenting and childcare. Simone lived with her husband and three children in London. She died suddenly in 2012.
