- About The Author
- Norm Ledgin is the author of Diagnosing Jefferson and Asperger's and Self-Esteem. In addition to his nonfiction works and journalism, he also wrote historical fiction and mysteries before his death in 2019. Before turning to book writing, Norm was an award-winning traffic safety specialist and a North Jersey journalist, blacklisted following House Un-American Activities Committee public condemnation of him in 1951 for opposing the manufacture and use of nuclear weapons. Temple Grandin earned her Ph.D. in animal science from the University of Illinois and is currently a Professor at Colorado State University. She is one of the most respected individuals with high-functioning autism in the world.
