- After living for centuries without any contact with humans, Egryn and his small group of elves never expected to have their existence discovered by a young boy name Gwyn. - About The Author
- Donald Rees was a primary schoolteacher for over 35 years, ending his career as a Headmaster. He enjoys reading, and during his teaching years read hundreds of books to his pupils, and his children and grandchildren. He wrote his first novel, Egryn, so that his son, who has since become a schoolteacher himself, could read it to his class. Egryn: In the Wild is the sequel. Donald lives in Wales.
