- Book Synopsis
- A full detailed look at the living traditions, festivals, events and memories of events and associated sites and sights of Old England. Ranging across the whole country and with over 100 illustrations and photos. The roots of modern Paganism are nourished by the soil of Old England whose inherently pagan past has always lain barely hidden beneath the surface. This rich heritage is constantly being mined by archaeologists and folklorists. Here we are shown some of the stranger aspects of folklore, music, tradition, myth and legend that have survived in the Sacred Landscape of England..".. a lovely invocation of spirit of place." -- Ronald Hutton
