- Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be a nurse. It has now been so many years since I started being a registered nurse/BSN. I am getting close to retirement, but I still have a love of taking care of my patients. I usually work 3-4 days a week. I am presently working through the state of Michigan, which has the highest rate of neonatal and maternal deaths. I take care of pregnant women and babies. During my spare time, I write novels and short stories. I play with our cats and a dog. I have four children and a granddaughter. I love taking them places, baking cookies, and watching movies.

- Debbie Bollenbach is a retired nurse with a love of taking care of her patients. She lives in Harrison Township, MI. Debbie spends her free time writing and playing with her animals and her grandchildren. She had four children, and three of them are married. The youngest daughter lives at home, and she is going to college. Her husband is an over-the-road truck driver.
