- About The Author
- Stefan Tkác is a dual diploma Ph.D., EUR ING recognized by FEANI, and a 2020/2021 Fulbright scholar to the University of Arizona. As an associate professor since 2019, he chairs the Architecture and Civil Engineering department at the new American University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia and, at the same time, works as an assistant professor and representative for South and Far East Asia at the University of Košice. He is trained in Architecture, Urban Planning, and Conceptual Design. His co-founded the International Design Firm STUDIO Ltd. and is currently CEO. In his research, he is focused on complex multidisciplinary approaches to Architecture and Urban Planning. His notable projects are the Micro Urban Energy model - The Efficiency Electric Power Grid Circles - EEPGC, Development program of the Micro Urban Multipurpose turbine - MUMT, and the first Hydropower plant mapping of Taiwan R.O.C.
