- About The Author
- Lorraine Amrani, a Londoner by birth, studied history of art and went on to become an acclaimed painter. Her oil artworks have featured in exhibitions, publications and prominent offices, and in 1995 she was honoured to receive a commission to paint the portrait of Wilhelm Roentgen, the inventor of x-ray to celebrate its hundredth-year anniversary. She has worked in the corridors of power at Westminster, has explored the art of traditional candlemaking, and has also discovered the world of perfume making. But it was her further research into the lives of artists, combined with a natural creative spark, which finally led Lorraine to write her first book, In the Frame, drawing on her extensive experience to create a thriller for art enthusiasts the world over.
