- Ryan Parrott was born in Bakersfield, California but spent the majority of his life growing up in Las Vegas. A graduate of Chapman University, Ryan had short films screen at both the Sundance and Cannes Film Festivals-eventually leading to a career in film and television. He has written for the NBC television series Revolution, IDW's Star Trek and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy as well as co-writing the series' finale Revolution: Endgame and the New York Time's best-seller Batman: Gates of Gotham.
