The front cover image is Castlebank Street, typical of the old village and long gone. More familiar are Dumbarton Road, Peel Street, Merkland Street, Gardner Street, and Hyndland Street. Lost are the old Kelvin Hall, Scotstoun Mill, the Regent's Mill, Yorkhill House and Partick Central Station.
