- Book Synopsis
- Olympic Fever is a bilingual fairy tale, a children's picture storybook for ages three to thirteen. It is fun, humorous, and easy to read. It can also be used as an education tool for those of any age serious about becoming bilingual or trilingual-English, French, and as an option, another chosen language from a possible one hundred or more. It is illustrated with wonderful watercolours with imaginative original paintings that will light up anyone young of heart. It's a collector's book of value with a surprising, moral storyline-a treat for all ages. It's about a surprise Olympic race on the farm with animals and friends.
- About The Author
- Young poetry author, later a businessperson, I became an Business English Teacher in Japan, 1989. I was doing excercises each morning, that I call 'Kick-Box-Zen,' a series of excercises, which I thought could be presented for the Olympics Mat excercise. I later applied to participate with the French Paralympics team. I was preparing for a French LLCE Degree in 2012, and wrote the children's story as a practice for my studies. Each day I would, workout, work on my language and writing skills, and write a little more of the story. So one could say I had Olympic fever too!
