- Jason Hales is the father of Matt Hales, the protagonist in his debut novel, "Pilo." Jason is also the owner of Targhee Press and has held various leadership roles at several publishing companies. Jason and his wife Jennifer live in Idaho Falls with their four children where they enjoy family time in the mountains.
