- Book Synopsis
- INGREDIENTS: Ramen Makes Us Complete is a funny, comforting and moreish celebration of the joys of food. May contain warm, generous stories about family and friends, working life, being a woman in modern society and finding a way to live comfortably with who you are. ~~~ In this world, there are two types of food: ramen and non-ramen. ~~~ Yoon Ina takes instant noodles seriously. She's the first to try new flavours the moment they hit the shelves, keeps up-to-date with hot ramen news and has even developed her own principles and theories for making the perfect bowl. This memoir is an ode to her obsession. Ina takes us through her life-long relationship with her favourite comfort food, from how her mum always ruined it by trying to make it healthy, to bowls gossiped over with friends, and the stress-busting power of fire noodles. Ramen Makes Us Complete will have you craving a steaming bowl of instant noodles before you know it.
