- About The Author
- Ahmed Al-Hilali is a Saudi writer and literary critic born in the state of Ammar, Tabuk, in 1974. He is a regular columnist for Makkah Newspaper and has published many books if literary criticism as well as novels, the most prominent of which is his novel The Lote Tree of the Furthermost Point and a book examining the literary clubs of Saudi Arabia - their origin, development, and impact on shaping cultural awareness. He is Associate Professor of Literature and Rhetoric at Taif University as well as Administrative Officer in Taif Literary Festival and Editor-in-Chief of the creative magazine Farqad.
