- Originally from west Clare in Ireland, and living in Sydney, Australia, Anne Casey is an award-winning poet and writer, and author of two previous, critically acclaimed poetry collections-where the lost things go (Salmon Poetry, 2017) and out of emptied cups (Salmon Poetry, 2019). She has worked for 30 years as a journalist, magazine editor, media communications director and legal author. Senior Poetry Editor of Other Terrain and Backstory literary journals (Swinburne University, Melbourne) from 2017-2020, she serves on numerous literary advisory boards. Anne's writing and poetry are widely published internationally and rank in The Irish Times newspaper's Most-Read.

- Anne Casey is a writer, poet and lyricist with over 25 years' experience in print and electronic publishing, creative writing and media communications. She passionately believes that every song or poem, like all art, should leave you changed by the experience. Her greatest ambition is to move people through her words. Anne has worked as a business journalist; magazine editor; corporate and government communications director; author and editor. Her article "The Lock Up" was the most-read feature and the third most-read piece in the entire The Irish Times newspaper over the weekend of its publication in May 2017. She was subsequently interviewed by Roisin Ingle on The Women's Podcast for The Irish Times. Anne has collaborations with artists and composers in Australia and the United States. Her poetry has been published in international newspapers, magazines, literary journals and books. She has written lyrics for 50+ songs, which feature in concerts and live performances, music albums, videos and on the radio airwaves.
