- About The Author
- Tom Bamforth is an aid worker and writer. He has worked in humanitarian response and international development with the Red Cross, International Organisation for Migration, and Norwegian Refugee Council since 2005 when he was caught in the Pakistan earthquake while on an archeological tour of the North West Frontier Province. His writing has appeared in Granta, Griffith Review, Meanjin, Island, The Age, and the Guardian. He is the author of Deep Field: Dispatches from the Frontlines of Aid Relief (Hardie Grant 2014).
