- About The Author
- I'm a British author, and I have been writing since 1983. In that time I have had some 90 books published. Most of my books are illustrated information books for children, but I have also written children's stories, and several books for adults. Some have won prizes, including a Smarties silver prize, and a Blue Peter award. Three of my books reached the Aventis science prize shortlist. I don't just write books: I have written restaurant reviews, corporate reports, TV scripts and museum interpretation, and I have appeared on TV and radio.
