- About The Author
- David Viner is a freelance curator and writer and was formerly curator of the Corinium Museum, Cirencester. He has been a museums and heritage consultant for over 20 years working all over the UK on social history and rural life collections. A founder-chairman of the Milestone Society, he is a trustee of Cirencester Archaeological & Historical Society and of Cirencester Weavers Company, guardians of a C15 building in the town, and serves the Bingham Library Trust as curatorial adviser. He was a trustee of Cotswold Archaeology from 1989 to 2012 and lives in Cirencester.
