- About The Author
- Katie is an illustrator and print-maker living and working in Bristol, UK. She won the Batsford Prize for Children's Book Illustration. She has also received the 'Highly Commended' accolade at the Macmillan Prize for Illustration on numerous occasions. She received a 'One to Watch' award at D&AD New Blood in 2017. She's illustrated a number of children's books, and she's written a few, too. Katie uses lots of bright colours (orange being a particular favourite), lots of texture and has lots of fun with characters. When she's not drawing, she's probably hanging out with her cat (Beanie) or feeding the ducks that live nearby.
