- About The Author
- Kenneth Grahame (1859-1932) was a Scottish writer most famous for one of the all-time classics of children's literature, The Wind in the Willows, as well as for The Reluctant Dragon. David Petersen was born and raised in Flint, Michigan, where he climbed trees, built forts, and made up stories in his mind and on paper. Later, he graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a BFA in printmaking. Petersen's New York Times best-selling and multiple Eisner and Harvey Award-winning graphic novel series Mouse Guard is published in 15 languages and has been optioned for a feature film adaptation. He and his wife, Julia, live in Michigan.
