- Brandon Mason is a 23-year-old aspiring author with a passion for making literature that resonates with young readers. He currently works in a nursery where he experiences children who come in from all different backgrounds and cultures. When reading to the children about princesses, dragons and dinosaurs, he often wondered where the books are for children who feel trapped and out of place, the children who fight monsters day in and day out. Through this relatable story, he hopes to inspire children to understand that life isn't always what it seems, but there are always people around who can make that a little better.
