- This book explores the application of psychological theories to tourist behaviour and experiences. It traces the evolution of those theories and how they have changed in response to broader social and economic changes. Among those changes have been the development of tourism, which reflects those social changes and contributes to them. - About The Author
- Chris Ryan is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Waikato and also Emeritus Editor of Tourism Management, for which he was editor in chief for 25 years. His research interests are tourist behaviours and the personal, social, economic and environmental consequences of such behaviours.
