- Book Synopsis
-
Trouble is a spear that never falters; no man may outrun it. -Viking proverb

Tor, once a mighty Viking warrior, has shed his old ways and settled in a sleepy village in a forgotten Fjord. His hands, once so skilled with a weapon, aren't much good on the farm, but Tor is happy and his family fed.

When a mysterious Viking ship washes ashore with a handful of half-dead survivors, Tor's carefully constructed life begins to unravel. Where he sees a deadly threat, the rest of the village sees only opportunity.

But they haven't seen what Tor has seen. They can't hear the whispers of the Norse gods of war and destruction, dragging all in the village to their bosom.

Tor knows better than most what is on the horizon, and the unthinkable sacrifices that come with it. He must find a way to protect all that he loves-and all that he's built-from the siren song of violence before it's too late.

Fans of epic fantasy and engrossing mythology will love Viking Lost: Saga of Souls Book One. - About The Author
- Derek Nelsen spent over twenty years traveling the world to engineer solutions for other people's problems. Now he engineers trouble for characters from his own imagination. (Making trouble is a lot more fun.) Viking Lost is his debut Novel, combining his love of writing and of his own Norse heritage. He lives in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, far from Hel and safe from Trolls, which is more than he can say for his characters. Find out more by visiting www.dereknelsen.com
