- About The Author
- Claire Fayers grew up in South-east Wales where, thanks to her local library, she developed a lifelong obsession with myth and magic. Her books include The Accidental Pirates (Waterstones Book of the Month, shortlisted for the Children's Book Award), Storm Hound (winner of the Tir na nOg award 2020) and Tapper Watson and the Quest for the Nemo Machine (Indie Book of the Month). She lives in the Welsh mountains with her husband and two disappointingly unmagical cats. Claire is based near Crickhowell.
